Summer Shows

The Old Berkeley Beagles attended The Bucks County Show and the Thame Show this Summer. We were situated within the countryside arena where we had a static display and a Pen of Hounds for the general public to see and ask questions about the pack. Our Huntsman took the Hounds into the Countryside arena and gave a first class talk about hunting today and welcomed members of the public into the Arena to meet the Hounds. At Thame Show the Pack were paraded in the main Arena along with the Bicester Foxhounds and the Vale of Aylesbury Foxhounds. Huge crowds cheered as the pack led by the Huntsman circled the arena.

Old Berkeley Beagles Clay Shoot

We held our annual Clay Shoot this year at Standalls Farm by kind permission of Mr Roger Goodchild. The weather was kind to us and attendance was good. A big thank you must go to Roger Hance for supplying and setting some testing targets for the competitors and to Brian Pratt MH and Masters and helpers on the day. Opening Meet 2009/2010 Season

Our opening meet this season was held at The Plough in Marsh Gibbon. The weather was very kind to us and drew a good following. Huntsman and Hounds set off under some testing scenting conditions and soon found the trail. Our Huntsman and Whips once again did an excellent job in keeping the Hounds on the trail all day and provided the foot followers with some great sport to watch.
